Nothing Phone 3a Lite: What to expect
The teaser posted by Nothing on X (formerly Twitter) provides a partial view of the smartphone’s rear design. From the video, it seems that the Phone 3a Lite will maintain the brand’s characteristic transparent back aesthetic. The clip also indicates a white LED blinking on the back, hinting at the return of Nothing’s Glyph Light interface.
While other devices in the Phone 3a series also incorporate Glyph Lights, the flagship Phone 3 replaced it with a dot-matrix display referred to as the “Glyph Matrix.” However, in contrast to the full LED strip design seen in earlier models, the Phone 3a Lite appears to feature only individual blinking LED bulbs rather than full-length strips.
Considering its anticipated mid-tier placement between the Phone 3a and CMF devices, the Phone 3a Lite is likely to include a dual rear camera setup, excluding the telephoto lens available on the Phone 3a. It may also utilize a transparent plastic back instead of the glass panel found in higher-end variants, akin to last year’s Phone 2a.
